Do I need a referral to book?
No referral is required. You can book a consultation directly through our website. Select an appointment type, complete a short health questionnaire, and choose a time that suits you. Our clinical team handles the rest.
How do I book an appointment?
Visit our booking page, choose your consultation type, and select an available time. You will be asked to complete a short health questionnaire before your appointment. The entire process takes a few minutes.
Is Keevo available across Australia?
Yes. All consultations are delivered via telehealth, so you can access care from anywhere in Australia. All you need is a device with a camera and microphone, and a stable internet connection.
How are consultations delivered?
All consultations are conducted via secure video call. Our platform works in most modern browsers, so no software installation is needed. You will receive a link to join your appointment before the scheduled time.
How long is an initial consultation?
Initial consultations typically run 20 to 30 minutes, depending on your health history and the reason for your visit. Follow-up appointments are generally shorter, around 10 to 15 minutes.
What happens during my first appointment?
Your doctor will review the health questionnaire you completed at booking, discuss your health history and goals, and work with you to determine an appropriate pathway. Where clinically suitable, prescriptions or referrals may be issued during the same session.
Who are Keevo's doctors?
All Keevo doctors are qualified, experienced, and registered to practise in their respective clinical areas. You can view doctor profiles on our booking page. We prioritise continuity of care, so you can rebook with the same doctor for follow-up appointments.
What types of consultations does Keevo offer?
Keevo offers consultations across three pathways: Weight Management, Performance and Vitality (body composition, recovery, cognitive performance, vitality, metabolic and sexual health), and Chronic and Complex Care (pain, sleep, stress, chronic conditions). Our clinical team can guide you to the right service at booking.
Can Keevo manage ongoing health concerns?
Yes. Our doctors can assess a range of ongoing health concerns, review existing treatment approaches, and coordinate care across our clinical divisions where appropriate. Individual suitability is assessed at consultation.
Can I continue a treatment plan I already have?
Your doctor will review your current medications and health history during your consultation. They may continue, adjust, or complement your existing approach based on clinical assessment. Individual circumstances vary.
What are authorised prescriber consultations?
Authorised prescriber consultations are doctor-assessed treatment pathways that sit outside conventional first-line approaches. Access requires a clinical consultation with a qualified, experienced doctor who will assess your suitability based on your health history and circumstances.
How do I access authorised prescriber consultations through Keevo?
You begin with a clinical consultation. Your qualified, experienced doctor will review your health history and assess whether an authorised prescriber pathway may be suitable for your circumstances. Suitability is determined on an individual basis. If appropriate, your doctor will manage the relevant regulatory pathway on your behalf.
Can you guarantee I will be approved for a particular treatment?
No. Suitability for any treatment is assessed individually by your doctor during your consultation. We cannot guarantee approval in advance. Your doctor will discuss your health history, current medications, and clinical circumstances before making any clinical decisions.
How are next steps coordinated?
Where deemed medically appropriate, your doctor coordinates the next steps of your care plan with you and explains the process during your consultation. You choose where any prescription is filled. Medications are not available for purchase on this website.
What is a compounded treatment consultation?
A compounded treatment consultation is a clinical appointment in which a qualified, experienced doctor reviews your health history, goals, and circumstances to determine whether a compounded treatment approach may be relevant to your care. It is not a sales consultation. Your doctor will discuss the evidence base, potential considerations, and any alternative approaches that may be appropriate.
Who conducts compounded treatment consultations at Keevo?
All consultations are conducted by qualified, experienced doctors with experience in this clinical area. Compounded treatment approaches are not discussed or recommended without a clinical assessment.
How are compounded medications coordinated?
Where clinically appropriate, your doctor coordinates the next steps with you and explains the process during your consultation. Any compounds are prepared under Australian regulatory requirements, and you choose where any prescription is filled.
What health areas can compounded treatment consultations cover?
Consultations may cover a range of health areas including recovery support, body composition, healthy ageing, metabolic health, cognitive function, and injury management. The relevant area is discussed with your doctor during your consultation. Individual suitability varies and is assessed on a case-by-case basis.
How are prescriptions issued?
Where clinically appropriate, your doctor can issue a prescription during or after your consultation. Prescriptions are sent to you electronically via SMS or email, and you choose where any prescription is filled.
How are next steps coordinated after a prescription?
Where deemed medically appropriate, your doctor coordinates the next steps of your care plan with you. You choose your own pharmacy, and your doctor will explain the process during your consultation.
How much does a consultation cost?
Consultation fees vary by appointment type. All pricing is displayed clearly before you confirm your booking. There are no hidden charges or surprise fees.
Do you offer Medicare bulk billing?
Keevo is a private telehealth clinic and does not currently offer Medicare bulk billing. Some patients may be eligible to claim a partial rebate through their private health insurer, depending on their level of cover.
Are there any additional fees?
The consultation fee covers your appointment. Medication costs are separate and are determined by your pharmacy or dispensing partner. There are no platform fees or subscription charges.
Is my health information secure?
Yes. All consultations and medical records are encrypted and stored in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and applicable health records legislation. Your information is only accessible to your treating practitioner and authorised clinical staff involved in your care.
Who can access my records?
Only your treating practitioner and the clinical staff directly involved in your care can access your health records. We do not share your information with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
Can I book and attend a consultation if I live in a regional area?
Yes. Telehealth removes geographic barriers. Patients in regional, rural, and remote areas across Australia can access Keevo consultations on the same basis as those in metropolitan areas.
How do I reschedule or cancel an appointment?
You can reschedule or cancel your appointment by logging into your account or contacting our team directly. We ask that changes are made with reasonable notice where possible. Our team is happy to help you find an alternative time.
